This quick guide presents the instructions for downloading the Bushing Monitor (BM) log using the Smart BM software versions 2.16 and 3.4.2, with version 2.16 being useful for communication with the Bushing Monitor BM-HMI in versions 2.05, 2.06, and 2.07 associated with the Measurement Modules BM-MM in versions 6.07, 6.08, and 6.10, and version 3.4.2 being useful for communication with the Bushing Monitor BM-HMI from version 3.02 r5 associated with the Measurement Module BM-MM from version 7.00 r13. To download the BM log, follow the procedure described below.

Download using BM-HMI

1. Run the Smart BM software.
   - Install the Smart BM v2.16 software.
   - Just run Smart BM v3.4.2 if you are using this version.

2. Start the program by clicking the shortcut created on the desktop.

3. Establish the communication between the software and BM-HMI.

4. Click the button Download. The window “Events and Measurements Download“ will appear. Select the option “Via BM-HMI“ and the download information.

5. Select the folder where the log will be saved, click the Browse button, and then click the Generate Database to start downloading. The progress will be shown below the button Generate Database, and in the end, the message “File generated Successfully“ will appear. 

6. After downloading the log save screenshots from the screens: 

• The download screen;
• The main Smart BM screen;
• The "Other Measurements" screen;
• The "Self-Diagnostic" screen;
• The "Date/Time" screen;
• "Advanced" and the "Information" screen. 

    Save it all in a folder or a Word document (.doc) 

7. Take a picture of the screen which indicates the actual sample number. 

8. Send the software screenshots, the downloaded log, and the BM-HIM front picture to Treetech SAC through the e-mail  sac@treetech.com.br to be analyzed. 

Download using BM-MM

1. Install the Smart BM v2.16 software.

2. Start the program by clicking the shortcut created on the desktop.

3. Establish the communication between the software and BM-MM.

4. Click the button Download. The window “Events and Measurements Download“ will appear. Select the option “Via BM-MM“ and the download information.

5. Select the folder in which the archive will be saved by clicking the “Browse“ button, and then click the Generate Database button to start downloading. The progress will be shown right below the button Generate Database, and in the end, the message “File generated Successfully“ will appear. 

6. Send the log downloaded to Treetech SAC through the e-mail sac@treetech.com.br to be analyzed.
