BM log download

This quick guide presents instructions to download the Bushing Monitor (BM) log using the software Smart BM v2.16, useful for communication with the versions 2.05, 2.06, and 2.07 of the BM-HIM the versions associated with versions 6.07, 6.08 and 6.10 of the BM-MM. To download the BM log proceed with the following steps.

Download using BM-HMI

Install the Smart BM v2.16 software.
Start the program by clicking the shortcut created on the desktop.
Establish the communication between the software and BM-HMI.
Click the button Download. The window “Events and Measurements Download“ will appear. Select the option “Via BM-HMI“ and the download information.

⚠ Always select the option “Events and Measurements LOG“ and also the options “Reference Bank Set and “Calculation Bank Set“ of all the existing measurement modules.

5. Select the folder where the log will be saved, click the Browse button, and then click the Generate Database to start downloading. The progress will be shown below the button Generate Database, and in the end, the message “File generated Successfully“ will appear.

6. After downloading the log save screenshots from the screens:

The download screen;
The main Smart BM screen;
The "Other Measurements" screen;
The "Self-Diagnostic" screen;
The "Date/Time" screen;
"Advanced" and the "Information" screen.

Save it all in a folder or a Word document (.doc)

7. Take a picture of the screen which indicates the actual sample number.

8. Send the software screenshots, the downloaded log, and the BM-HIM front picture to Treetech SAC through the e-mail sac@treetech.com.br to be analyzed.

Download using BM-MM

Install the Smart BM v2.16 software.
Start the program by clicking the shortcut created on the desktop.
Establish the communication between the software and BM-MM.
Click the button Download. The window “Events and Measurements Download“ will appear. Select the option “Via BM-MM“ and the download information.

ℹ️ In this case, it’s only possible to download the references and calculus data from the BM-MM connected to the software, options “Reference Bank Set 1“ and “Calculation Bank Set 1“.

5. Select the folder in which the archive will be saved by clicking the “Browse“ button, and then click the Generate Database button to start downloading. The progress will be shown right below the button Generate Database, and in the end, the message “File generated Successfully“ will appear.

✓ The download log by BM-MM is faster than the download by BM-HMI.

6. Send the log downloaded to Treetech SAC through the e-mail sac@treetech.com.br to be analyzed.
