Introduction
The BM is Treetech’s bushing monitor, and because it requires a learning period before going into operation, the learning variables and current samples are stored in the BM's database. In case of analysis, it is necessary to download this information so it can be evaluated and studied to support better decision-making in the event of potential failures, whether in the asset or the IED.
The SDG or SD+ can communicate with the BM and perform the download of this information, instead of retrieving it via serial network directly from the BM using the software Smart BM

Information !
This guide was created based on system version 2.7.37 of the SD+.
Before starting the procedure, make sure that:
The SD+ Web Page is accessible from your machine;
The BM from which the log will be downloaded is properly connected to the SD+;
The protocol, baud rate, and address settings of the IED to be read are configured as desired.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1

Note: If the system version is lower than: 2.3.1, use default as the default username and password.
Step 2
In the top menu, click on Tools and then click on BM Log.
Step 3
Next, select the Reference Bank Set e Calculation Bank Set according to the number of monitored bushings and finally, Events and Measurements as indicated below.
Step 4
Go to Mapped Connections and select the BM from which you want to download the log, the Connection Settings should be filled in automatically.
If there is no previously mapped IED, go to Connection Settings and fill in the fields below according to your IED’s configuration.
Step 5
Finally, click the Start Download button. A message will appear warning that previously downloaded files will be deleted; to continue, click Yes.
The download progress will be displayed below. Once it is completed through the web page, download the generated .csv files by clicking the download button next to the file
