Final procedures to get BM working

  1. Verify if doesn’t have anything connected to BM-MM pin 6;

  2. Parametrize the initial values of the monitored bushings capacitance and tangent delta, according to the new bushings nameplate or the results of previous offline tests for operating bushings (MENU →  Measurement Module → Initial Values);

  3. Recalculate the capacitance and tangent delta alarms(Menu → Alarms);

  4. Recalculate the High leakage current alarm (Menu → I Leakage Alarm);

  5. Verify the phases A, B, and C leakage current of each module and parameterize the minimum leakage current (Menu → Mesure Module → Minimum I leakage) for each set to around 2/3 of the lowest leakage current measured by that module. Examples:

    1. If the lowest leakage current measured by set 1 is 67 mA, the parameter “Minimum I leakage“ must be 44,7 mA;

    2. If the lowest leakage current measured by set 2 is 23 mA, the parameter “Minimum I leakage“ must be 15,3 mA;

    3. If the lowest leakage current measured by set 3 is 10 mA, the parameter “Minimum I leakage“ must be 6,7 mA;

  6. Recalculate the reference for all modules (Menu → Measurement Module → Recalculate Reference);

  7. Verify and configure the BM inter clock (Menu → Adjust Clock);

  8. Clean up the event log (Menu → Advanced Config. → Configuration → Reset Log);

  9. Reset all self-diagnosis memories (see How to check and clean the BM self-diagnosis memory)

  10. Wait until the module increments a sample;

  11. Verify over again the self-diagnosis memories (see How to check and clean the BM self-diagnosis memory);

  12. In case of still exists any self-diagnosis in memory, clean it up once more (see How to check and clean the BM self-diagnosis memory).
