Internal memory data download using BM-MM

This quick guide presents instructions to download the BM-MM internal memory for versions 6.07, 6.08, and 6.10 using the Smart BM v2.16. This procedure only must be done if requested by Treetech.

Install the Smart BM v2.16 software.
Start the program by clicking the shortcut created on the desktop.
Establish the communication between the software and BM-HMI or between the software and BM-MM.
Click on the "Download IM" button. The window "BM-MM Internal Memory Access" will appear. Select one of the options: "Via BM-HMI" or "Via BM-MM" according to the established connection, and type the measurement module address in the field "MM Address".

5. Select the option "ADC" to download the A/D converter's memory data or "RAM Bank" to download the RAM data.

6. Click on the "Freeze" button. A message like an image below will appear, and the measurement module will stop the sampling, which means that the bushings connected to it will not monitor during this time. After that, the buttons "Download" and "Restore" will be activated.

7. To save the archive, select the folder by clicking the "Browse" button and then click the "Download" button. The progress will be shown right below the "Restore" button, and in the end, the message: "Download successful. Please press Restore" will appear.

8. Close the window and click the "Restore" button. The message "IM restored successfully" will be shown up, and the measurement module will come back to sampling.

❌ If you did not finish this process, the measurement module did not work correctly, meaning that the device will not do the sampling and not monitor the bushings connected to it.
