Changing IEDs addresses on the SD

Type the device IP at the web browser search bar;

The default IP is: 192.168.10.87 or 192.168.1.87


NOTE: If trying to connect with the default IP, make sure that your machine is at the same network range of the SD+.




Login with the default user, or any other user of your choice.


User: default  

Password: Default123  

    



Go to the "Application" page


NOTE: Some system interfaces may be quite different depending on how old is the system version of your device. However, the core workflow maintain the same


On the Application page, Clone the configuration file (.back) from the current SD+ execution area (left side), to the application configuration area, simply click the "Clone" button.


Once cloned, simply edit the configuration area.

Go to the Connections > Input Tab


On the Input - Settings Tab, click on the Connection that contains the IED you want to change the address of:


Note: In case you want to change an address on the Output, just select the Output tab instead of Input.


Changing the IED's Address


In the list on the right with the IEDs, you can edit the addresses of each one. Just be careful not to enter the address "1" as it's reserved by the protocol. Remember to click Confirm once finished.


Close Editing and apply chances



"Apply" consists of executing the modifications made in the configuration area. The IED will restart and the changes will be applied.

Once is all done, your IED will reset and apply the configuration.
