How to check and clean GMP self-diagnosis memory and alarms

Created by Patrícia Siqueira, Modified on Wed, 4 Oct, 2023 at 3:46 PM by Patrícia Siqueira

All the self-diagnosis and alarms identified by the GMP are stored. The user can access this information at the device's frontal panel. The shown value for each memory digit is the sum of each self-diagnosis and alarm that ever occurred to that position in hexadecimal and not only those that are active at the moment. So, it's possible to know every single alarm and self-diagnosis which has occurred since the last time the memory was cleaned (reset).

To check and clean the device's memory, follow the steps below

Self-diagnosis memory

  1. At any indication screen, press the keys P and ↓ simultaneously. The self-diagnosis memory screen will show up;
  2. Press and hold the Enter key for around 3 seconds to clean up the memory;
  3. If it's not possible to clean a code, it means that the code is active at the moment;
  4. Press the P key to go back to the indication screens.

Alarms memory

  1. At any indication screen, press both P and ↑ keys. The alarms screen will show up;
  2. Press and hold the Enter key for around 3 seconds to clean up the memory;
  3. If it's not possible to clean a code, it means that code is active at the moment;
  4. Press the P key to go back to the indication screens.
