CHECK THE FIRMWARE VERSION TO BE ISNTALLED
It is not necessary to update into a intermediary version before upgrading to the newest version
Have the file and software in your possession
- Modbus poll
- .img file that is going to be flashed into the IED as firmware
Access the SDV's web page
- Log in with the user treetech to enable the firmware update;
- Verify if the system version is up to date, avoiding any possible bug due to an old system;
- It is also possible to know the SDV's firmware version, below the Application title through the Version parameter, also present on the "About" screen.
With an up to date system version, the tool Loader should be enabled:
Fill the page with the correct informations
The informations are:
- Update file with the most up to date firmware version
- Board: HU-S inferior (EP)
- Baudrate: 115200 (bps)
- Connection: Comunicação interna
- Address: 1
Advanced Configurations
- Timeout: 30
- TX Delay: 25
- Interframe: 5
- Retentativas: 2
At the end, just click SAVE.
Conclusion
Once the firmware has been updated, it is possible that an EEPROM self-diagnosis occurs. In that case, to fix it, it's necessary to write the value 1 on the 19300 Holding Register of the IED, this can be done through the software ModbusPoll.
Once is all done, your IED will reset and apply the firmware version.
