To disable the reverse power flow blocking, it is possible to follow the following tutorial, if your AVR is in firmware version 2.20 or higher.

1. Press the P key for 5 seconds.

  • Enter the password to access the Menus;
  • Press Enter to confirm.

2. Press Down Arrow until you locate the Alarms submenu.

  • Press Enter to confirm.

3. Using Down Arrow to scroll to OLTC Blockage.

  • Press Enter to confirm;
  • Navigate by pressing Enter;
  • When you get to the Reverse Flow option, press the Down Arrow to disable this lock;
  • Press the P key 3 times to return to the Home Menu.

In case your AVR is in an older firmware version (only the versions 2.18 and 2.19), it is possible to proceed with the disabling according to the step-by-step below.

1. Establish communication with the equipment via modbus or DNP3.

  • If the protocol is modbus, change bit7 of Holding Register 14 (base 0) to 0;
  • If the protocol is DNP3, change Binary Output 95 to 0.

 By disabling OLTC Blockage due to power flow inversion, if a real inversion occurs (mainly in cases where they are not related to wind and photovoltaic generation) the switch will not be locked, which may generate problems.

 Disabling this block is the sole responsibility of the customer, as they are aware of the actions taken and the risks present.
