            Is it possible to transmit different protocols on the RS-485 ports, one using Modbus and the other using DNP3?

            Yes, the serial ports (RS-485, RS-232, and FO serial) are physically independent. Therefore, it is possible to transmit one protocol per port, even if they are different.
