About the MO

The Moisture Monitor (MO) is a device used to monitor the presence of diluted water in the insulating oil (mineral or vegetable) of transformers or power reactors based on user-programmed limit values for alarm emission. This helps prevent issues that may decrease the equipment's lifespan.

The MO consists essentially of two modules:

• Measurement Module: Installed in contact with the oil;
• Interface Module: Enables the online measurement and monitoring of water content in the oil.
